“I’m just a son of a son, son of a son, son of a son of a sailor

The sea’s in my veins, my tradition remains
I’m just glad I don’t live in a trailer…”

~Jimmy Buffett

** Hey y’all – check out the latest post under “The Great Build” – I’m about to start posting frequently, as I’m starting the build!! **

Ah, the irony…   that I open this life-journal with a Jimmy Buffett quote!  A man whose lifestyle I’ve idly dreamed of, for as long as I remember….

And here I am, embarking on what probably represents my own, personal (and most radical!) “lifestyle revolution” – about to “live in a (kinda) trailer”.  And very little could make me happier!

Jimmy Buffett has always seemed to embrace the very fundamentals of “living life”; relishing every minute with an insatiable zest for living, surrounded by wondrous exotic locales and a myriad of umbrella drinks!

This will be my smaller-scale, somewhat-less-exotic tip-of-the-hat to Jimmy, but for me no less of a fundamental rejection of the ordinary, the ‘expected’ or the societally ‘accepted’.

Cheers, Jimmy!!
